Optical practices, following advice from the College of Optometrists, will continue to operate under the current Amber Phase guidelines.

Horrocks & Boyd will continue to offer our full range of eye care services. This includes urgent and non-urgent NHS sight tests.

Following the latest update to guidance relating to COVID-19, we will continue to use appropriate PPE (including face masks) whilst aiming to maintain our high clinical standards.

Our professional bodies recommend that people continue to wear a face covering in enclosed spaces. Therefore, we encourage all of our customers to continue wearing face coverings when visiting the practice. We also ask that you contact us via telephone or email before visiting the practice for any reason, and that you limit companions to only those who are essential to your visit.
